Day 1: Arequipa – Sillar Route – City Tour

  • Welcome and transfer to the hotel.
  • In the morning, we begin the Sillar Route, visiting the Añashuayco and Culebrillas quarries. Here, you’ll learn about the craft of the stonemasons and the story behind sillar—the volcanic stone that defines Arequipa’s identity.
  • In the afternoon, we enjoy a Cultural City Tour: Yanahuara Viewpoint, Santa Catalina Monastery, Main Square, and the cloisters of the Church of the Society of Jesus.
  • Free time for dinner and rest.
  • Overnight at a hotel in Arequipa.

Day 2: Arequipa – Colca Valley

  • Very early departure to the Colca Valley.
  • Along the way, we visit: Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve (vicuña spotting), Pampa Cañahuas, and the Andes Viewpoint (4,910 m / 16,109 ft).
  • Arrival in the Colca Valley and lunch.
  • In the afternoon, we visit traditional villages such as Yanque or Coporaque, with easy walks and time to connect with local communities.
  • Optional: Hot springs for relaxation.
  • Dinner and rest.
  • Overnight at a hotel in Chivay / Yanque.

Day 3: Condor Cross – Colca – Arequipa

  • Very early departure to the Condor Cross, a prime viewpoint to watch the majestic flight of the Andean condor and take in the sheer depth of the Colca Canyon.
  • On the way back, we visit: charming valley villages, natural viewpoints, and colonial churches.
  • Lunch in Chivay.
  • Return to Arequipa in the afternoon.
  • End of our services.
